Reception had a magical day at cave school, learning just what it was like to have a day without the usual natural and man made light. The windows were covered, the lights were switched off and out came a magical world of alternative light sources- ranging from uv black lights, fibre optic lamps, fire and torches! It was a wonderfully immersive day for all the children and one that has provided them with rich experiences to learn from as they progress.
