‘Eggsiting’ week in Nursery!

Following the news flash on Monday about an escaped ostrich, we went to look for any signs of a big bird in the area. We spotted two giant eggs in the garden. This unusual discovery inspired us to do our own research about animals that lay eggs. We learnt that animals that lay eggs are called ‘oviparous’. Our children are becoming real ‘eggsperts’ at sorting animals that lay eggs and the ones that do not.
