5MW have composed their own space song to enrich their topic work. They investigated classic space films and chose a song they liked. We then learnt how to cut, edit and loop samples. We then held a beat box competition and the winning groups rhythms, (as voted by the class), was sequenced and added to the sample. They learnt how to add effects such as filters and compression. Finally they wrote lyrics after researching space and recorded them onto their track.
